The Mission has served Springfield’s homeless and impoverished for more than 110 years. Every day more than 100 individuals come through our doors seeking shelter and searching for connection. We show them, love by providing coffee, laundry, clothing, and hot showers. Through local churches, we provide opportunities for the community to engage in gospel-centric programs to address barriers impacting those visiting the Mission.
Our vision is to meet these immediate physical needs each day and address the deeper mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs that each person faces.
We believe that by showing the love of God, we can build a platform to project the gospel. We long for our community members to see the healing God can provide for their addictions and past trauma so that they have the opportunity to move forward in their life, career, and relationships.
Our coffee club is for individuals and organizations who want to join in supporting the Mission’s daily coffee hall. For less than a dollar a day, you can assist in building community among those that come to the Mission.
Our training partners make possible the variety of life skill, personal development, and leadership trainings that we plan to hold for our guests on an ongoing basis.

Our gospel service supporters allow us to implement a worship service for our community members to share the gospel with them through preaching and worship intentionally. We hope to hold weekly services eventually.
