Prayer is foundational to everything we do at Washington Street Mission.  We begin everyday with prayer before our community members even come in the doors.  Weekly we collect prayer requests from our staff and community members.  

Many community members find comfort to know that they are being prayed for.  If you consider prayer a place where you can join with us, please consider joining the prayer team.

Volunteer

We have opportunities to serve in the coffee hall, sort clothing, or assist shoppers.  As a volunteer, you become an important part of our community.  Some of us come with more.  Some of us come with less, but at the table we all find equality in how God loves us.

Advocate

Clothing and household items are available with charge.  Men may come on Thursdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Women may come on Tuesdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Children’s clothing is available during the women’s shopping hours.
