Official Rules

• Must be 18 years or older at the time of purchase to win.
• The Raffle is being conducted pursuant to the Illinois Raffles and Poker Runs Act, 230 ILCS 15/0.01 et seq., and the Sangamon County Code, Chapter 5.18 Raffles and Poker Runs, to raise funds for ongoing charitable purposes. Sangamon County Raffle License: 2025-00064.
• All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. The Raffle is void where prohibited by law.
• If fewer than 1,235 tickets are sold the prize pool will be reduced proportionally to equal 50% of net sales. If more than 1,235 tickets are sold the prize pool will increase proportionally by an amount equal to 35% of additional net sales.
• A maximum of 5,000 tickets will be sold. If all tickets were sold at $25 per ticket, the maximum 1st prize value would be $39,280.41.
• Non-Deductibility of Ticket Purchase: The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances in raffles, lotteries or similar drawings for valuable prizes are not gifts, and consequently, the purchase of a Ticket does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution.
  Taxes: There may be federal, state and/or local tax consequences of winning a prize in the Raffle. Any and all taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Purchasers of Tickets are advised to consult their own tax advisors with respect to tax liabilities that may arise from winning a prize in the Raffle.
